Welcome to our shop, dear gamer!

You will find our cozy little „Gamer’s HQ“ not far from the busy life of Schlossstraße in Berlin, Steglitz. Here you can enjoy a relaxed shopping experience and be inspired by the mass and variety of boardgames. Whether it be thematic boardgames, compact card games, complex cosims, pretty minis or colourful dice; There’s a lot of interesting things to explore.
While the organisation of our floors may seem overwhelming at first, we put great emphasis on keeping a sensible structure throughout. Entire series‘ of games and its expansions in German will be located right alongside international versions of the same game.

Care for a brief tour?

The Entrance

Coming into the store, your eyes will probably be drawn to our colourful sales counter, where a friendly smile will greet you – that of Alexa, Thore or York. Well some days we’ll be a bit gloomy, but usually we’re in a good mood!
Now for the games: In the main entrance room you will find all of our tactical miniature games, such as DUST 1947 (the intricately painted minis in the window) or the STAR WARS X-WING wings and fighters. In addition to that, we keep our RPG (Role-Playing Game) books adjacent to the counter – among those, of course, “The Dark Eye” and “Dungeons & Dragons”. Are you interested in Living Card Game Systems by Fantasy Flight Games? “Arkham Horror – The Card Game” and “Lord of the Rings” to name a few? You will find those expansions, presented as little cards, on a wall next to the counter. Just pick out the card pack you are looking for and trade it for the actual pack at the cashier!
Are you looking for an overview of new releases from the last fortnight? You can check out our “News” shelf near the “Ludothek” – or ask one of us for assistance, of course. ;)

The War Room

You will often hear chatter coming from this room, as it is often used for game rounds! We have game rounds here on a regular basis, taking place with a cozy group of gamers – be that a familiar group or a game demonstration. This room, too, contains a lot of interesting products though! In addition to our expansive collection of card games, we also have game series’ like Munchkin or Star Realms with all their expansions and accessoires. The classic Eurogames like Ticket to Ride, Catan, Power Grid or Wingspan can also be found here.
The real strength of this room, however, is the expansive and curated selection of cosims and war games. Cosim, by the way, is a contraction of the term “conflict simulation”. These complex strategy games are organised by the time period they cover – so you will find all WWII cosims by GMT or DVG in one place, for instance. We also sorted all Ziplock games into special displays and boxed for you to look through! This curated and well-maintained variety of cosims has earned us something of a national and international reputation too.

The “Ludothek”

If you are looking for games of a certain subject, you will have an easy time looking in our Ludothek! Are you looking for communicative games? Post-apocalyptic settings? Are you looking to play a pirate or summoner of demonic forces? This rooms holds all our boardgames organised by playstyles or topics they cover – all looking to be discovered by you! Enjoy!

That’s the end of our little tour. Whenever we expand our Lepsiusstr. 33 home by another „cave system“, we’ll get you up to date!
