Regicide is a cooperative fantasy card game for 1 to 4 players, played using a standard deck of cards uniquely illustrated by Sketchgoblin.

Players work together to defeat 12 powerful enemies using the unique powers of each suit to achieve victory. On their turn a player plays a card to the table to attack the enemy and once enough damage is dealt, the enemy is defeated. The players win when the last King is defeated. But beware! Each turn the enemy strikes back. Players will discard cards to satisfy the damage and if they can't discard enough, everyone loses. Rich with tactical decisions and a deep heuristic tree, Regicide is a huge challenge for anyone who is brave enough to take it on.

This new edition of Regicide comes in a hardy, plastic, flip-top box. Throw this in your bag with the knowledge your deck will remain safe and secure!

Also featuring the Bards as the new art for the Diamonds suit. All illustrations have been touched up and improved with extra detail.

Choose from two box colours: Card backs now match the deck box colour! No more teal card backs with your red deck box. Game contents are the same in both box colours.

And lastly, card backs now feature a bold border. This will help players easily identify the number of cards in other players' hands at a glance.

Are the Teal/Red versions different?

The contents of each box are the same. The only differences are the box/rulebook colour, and the card back colour (in the 2nd edition). In the 2nd edition version each card back matches the colour of the box.

What's the difference between 1st edition and 2nd edition?

Both versions contain the same number of components. The 2nd edition version has a new, hardy, plastic, flip-top box which will help keep your deck safe and secure for longer. The 2nd edition also features new artwork for the Diamonds cards: the Bards characters. The 2nd edition has also had all the artwork touched up and improved, and the card backs now match the box colours and feature a new border which will help players more easily see the number of cards other players' hands.
