Napoleonic - Small Battles Series
The N-SB series is dedicated to the battles usually “forgot” by standard wargames, designed to let the player learn the basic tactical formations, manoeuver and orders of the napoleonic age.
After his victory at Dego, Napoleon decided to hit first the Piedmontese Army but the heroic defense of Colonel Dal Carretto that, after a fighting retreat found his stronghold in the Cosseria Castle, stopping the entire French western wing all day long. This forced the French to turn on their advance to the east toward Dego, the gate to the Po Valley.
They won the battle but at down, a gallant austrian attack broken the Massena forces regaining all the initial positions and Napoleon himself had to return on the battlefield to fight again the same battle.
Dego, the second game in the N-SB series, offers you new tactical situations to confront with new tactics and formations for all three battles.
