Wound cards now impose lasting effects on heroes, affecting movement, action points, and abilities, forcing players to consider risks and resources over multiple turns. Omen cards introduce variable starting conditions, letting players tailor the difficulty and create unique challenges for each game session, from small skirmishes to long campaigns.
