Black Flight is a solitaire air war game in a narrative style about the Royal Naval Air Service (RNAS) and No. 10 (Naval) Squadron. Set in 1917, it is the first book of the Great War Series of games. It features a mid-sized table-top footprint and easy-to-learn rules. Gameplay involves dice, cards, and tables. You command a full squadron in a baptism of fire in the skies over the Western Front.

Designed by Thomas Van Hare, Black Flight depicts a desperate era of swirling, deadly dogfights during the First World War. Your pilots face intense challenges, combat stress, and the best that the German Imperial Air Service has, including Baron Manfred von Richthofen's famous "Flying Circus" Welcome to the Ypres Salient, the trenches, and the savage skies over No Man's Land.
