Core Game:

It was a winter morning when a group of strangers found themselves in a farmhouse. They were at the beginning of their journey – by the outskirts of the Land of the Dragon. Each stranger had their own personal motives and opinions, but they united in determination to do whatever it takes to slay the dragon that cast fear onto their land…

In this game, players compete in an arms race against each other, and the forces of evil. As the game progresses the forces of evil strengthen, which will take your magic and abilities to their limit.

This game combines a fantasy game with a Eurogame, and combines three different mechanisms: Card Draft Rotation, Fog of War and Scale of Evil.

Heropath has more to offer than just those three mechanisms… Heropath also offers various interactive options throughout the game, including:

• Trading between heroes
• Stealing from other heroes
• Causing direct and indirect damage to other players by using accessories and magic
• Trapping and placing others into the Goblin Prison

With all the interactivity and different playing mechanisms players are unaware that the game is simultaneously causing conflict and damage to the players, to ultimately defeat them in their own playing method.

The best piece of advice is: be smart enough to improvise with new strategies, because who knows… your initial strategy may not be enough to win the game.

This is Heropath, overall requiring resource management and strategic movement planning... providing adventure and satisfaction when fighting against evil.

If you can strategically plan your actions better than the other players, than you may have what it takes to succeed in the final heroic battle.

Fire & Light:

"In dark times – in your hour of need – I shall return to you – that is my path."

These words were known to famous isolationists as the final prophecy left by the Wizard. To others, it was no more than a rumor or a fable told to little children. No one really believed the prophecy, until that night…when the cursed hour arrived; enemies appeared from every crevice of the city. Out of the darkness, bright colors flashed and the ground trembled… and suddenly Wizard appeared, and whispered under his breath:
"Dance, you fools, dance all the way from here to hell… dance, but do not forget to whisper to the dragon along your way that the wizard is back – your time is over."

If the Giant was told one year ago where his life would take him, he would not have believed it… and no one would have even heard of the goblin-slaying Giant. The Giant was a peaceful farmer who was content with his life, he bothered no one, and no one bothered him. That all changed after that one cursed winter… when the goblin raid started from the Caves of Doom – it was that same night when the goblin's fury torched 1,000 straw huts, and the air was filled with fear. It was from that same fire and pain that a hero and a legend was formed, the Giant who stood against evil and returned the favor twice over.
