Ähnlich wie der kanadische Verlag Columbia Games, hat die italientische Spieleschmiede Vento Nuovo Games eine Vorliebe für "block-based" Wargames. Sämtliche Einheiten werden durch hölzerne Spielsteine repräsentiert, die einseitig beklebt sind und somit eine "Fog of War"-Spielmechanik erlauben, also der Gegenspieler nicht erkennen kann, welche Einheiten genau gegen ihn aufgestellt werden.
